GLUG is a regional conference for Ellucian Colleague users from colleges and universities located in Canada, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin.

The September 25, 2017 conference will be hosted at Schoolcraft College at the VisTaTech Center in Livonia, Michigan.  We are mindful of institution budgets and what you can afford.  Considering everything that is included, the conference cost is a great value!  It includes:  evening reception with drinks and appetizerscontinental breakfast, lunch, beverages all day, conference sessions, plus a special gift for all attendees.  New this year, we are offering a special guest pass, if you have a spouse or friend making the trip to Livonia with you.

Conference Food

Schoolcraft College has an excellent reputation in the Detroit area for their culinary arts program.  They prepare a variety of dishes from traditional to truly unique, which are all prepared on campus by professional chefs.  Listed below is a tentative menu for the conference.

Session Tracks & Presentations

The 2017 tracks are yet to be determined yet.  Check the Session Grid frequently as new sessions continue to be added.   The committee is open to subject ideas and creative topics.  If you or someone you know would like to present, submit your topic(s) online.  Added bonus, conference registration fee is waived for participating presenters and panelists!  In the past, sessions have been under the following categories:GLUG2016_presentation

CIO Forum

Great Lakes Regional CIOs and senior IT leaders are facing a broad range of challenges requiring innovative thinking and visionary leadership. Ellucian is committed to transparency regarding the technology roadmap and how it impacts our institutions. Senior IT leaders and CIOs are invited to spend the day in a small group setting with an executive from Ellucian. This track typically focuses on Ellucian’s technology roadmap, CIO concerns, shared service models, customer support, community source, cloud computing, and training opportunities.
