ADMISSIONS & ADVISING
Recruit Period is Done. Now what? Improve! SWOT Analysis through CRM.

Jay Nowakowski  – Schoolcraft College

As software platform, there are a number of opportunities for maintenance in CRM Recruit when you reach the end of an academic term or recruiting period. However, as a Decision Support platform or a Continuous Improvement vehicle, CRM Recruit can support your institutions ability to retool the recruiting lifecycle to optimize enrollment and enhance the student experience. Stakeholders should take the opportunity to re-assess everything from enrollment performance to messaging and campaigns, to events and outreach efforts, to dashboards and automated process. Join this panel discussion and add your voice to this powerful topic.

Communicating with Students While Speaking Their Language

Cheryl Palafox-Stewart – Sinclair College

Using Sinclair’s Message Control Center (MCC) integrated with our Radius CRM and Appointment Manager, we’re able to send, track, audit our SMS , PUSH (Mobile Messages through the Colleague Mobile SDK) and PORTAL messages to our students so we have better visibility on how many messages, what kind of messages and what channel we’re sending messages out on.  We will focus on the PUSH Messages through the Colleague Mobile SDK.

Are you looking to improve your evaluation process for limited enrollment programs?

Lauren Pillarelli

Reduce Errors, Increase Efficiency, and Improve Satisfaction While Enhancing Longitudinal Reporting

Nicholas (Nick) Wagner – Saginaw Valley State University

SVSU faced challenges with bridging the gap between the operational nature of Colleague’s Business Objects reporting tool (CROA), and the strategic reports we needed to develop. These challenges created hours of manual work, and endangered adoption of our reporting environment. We needed a solution to create and automate longitudinal reports; lower the risk of errors in reporting on student progress, outcomes, and success; and improve the filtering and display capabilities of institutional reports. In this session, we’ll share how SVSU is achieving these goals in partnership with higher education-focused consultants from ASR Analytics. ASR implemented their Student Success Analytics model on top of CROA, customized for SVSU’s data, to create longitudinal and strategic reporting capabilities. Learn more about how we chose ASR, and explore examples of how we’re leveraging our new longitudinal reporting solution.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
A Year in Review: Implementing a Formal System for Colleague Update Management

Ashleigh LaLonde – Ellucian

Ryan Goodrow – Delta College

Dave Wallace – Delta College

For the past year, Delta College has implemented an aggressive set of guidelines which define the process, communication plans, and sign off that all impacted departments must follow for testing scheduled updates before any change can be made to the environment. These guidelines have drastically increased stability within production after installation of Ellucian-delivered releases. Stop in for further details on this update management process and what you can do to implement your own solution for your institution.

Ethos Identity – The X Files…

Donald Prezioso – Ashland University

When I first attempted to install Ethos Identity I had no background with identity management, and the Ellucian documentation was sparse to say the least. The WSO2 documentation covered more, but seemed to assume that the reader already understood the basics, which I really did not. In response I have created a document that is much more than my normal notes to try and provide the missing documentation I wish I had when installing. This presentation is an overview of the document with the hope that it will help prevent some of the frustration I had as I attempted to install Ethos Identity for the first time.
